Backed
with a formation in Geography, I specialise in dynamic analysis of
territories. I look forward to understand the impact of territorial
organisations on municipal investments and projects. For instance,
cities are usually organized by a monumental axis, « bending », on a
long term basis, their urban developpement.
By identifying these
permanences, and knowing how they can affect the evolution and dynamic
of territories, it is possible to prospect the future by developping
strong scenarios. These « urban scenarios » can help reduce the
uncertainty of decision making and planning process, and therefore help
to better manage the collective ressources. In other words, by using
these scenarios, it is possible to anticipate the success of municipal
projects and investments.
This geographical approach of urban
developpment has been used to understand cities like Paris, Lisboa and
Montreal. I had the opportunity to use this method for understanding
the urban dynamic of Quebec city since its foundation.
I am at cities disposal to pursue such urban analysis and other
geographical works.
I
practice photography since the mid 90's. The urban landscape is
probably the main theme of my practice. Even in my portraits, the city
emerge's through it's « atmosphere ». Most of my photos are
